i have been a sports "gambler" for about 20 years and have done very nicely with it. i can truthfully say that i am on top of the game. i live in a very, very small town, so tout is not a word used very commonly here. i think i know what a tout is , but after reading some of these posts im not for sure. im just a dumb ole country boy, but could you give me your definition of a "TOUT"

means a person that uses the forums to "sell" his picks or website..like a used car salesman so to speak...thats How I see a tout

good luck to you on your plays this week Mr O.

Fat Frank said it best......

You pay touts for their losing plays, It's that simple.

To answer your question very simply

TOUTS = Someone who charges you for his picks

Handicapper = Someone who is willing to share imformation or opinions free of charge

Tout = Rip off artists, or more plainly speaking a ****ing thief!

Best of luck no matter what side you are on!

Tout = low life lying moron who can't make it in life without taking advantage of hopeless squares.

That's all before I really say what's on my mind.

Here's some potential tout customers:

Hilarious Picture McIrish! /infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif I love that movie!

A tout is somebody who will give you a free pick over the phone, and call you 20 times afterwards and try and talk you into their service. They also ask for your e-mail and send you hundreds of useless e-mails a day clogging up your e-mail account.

Bottom line is never pay ANYBODY a dime for their so called million star can't miss locks. Why!?! Because they will miss! TOUTS SUCK!!!!

i don't think there is one of us who hasn't delt with a tout at one time early in his/her career...i'll admit i did and boy did it hurt...my advice to anyone is STAY AWAY FROM ANY TOUT SERVICE...even if you win a few with a service the fees involved coupled with the juice payed on loosing bets (yes, you will lose some bets) will eat away your bankroll...take it from a person who has been there...learn to cap your own games/play your games...touts are all about marketing and don't care about you, only your money...i learned the hard way and am still paying for the "learning experience" of over betting and following a tout...this is a serious business we engage in and my advice is follow some of the seasoned gamblers on this site, listen to money management advice and DON'T PAY FOR SOMEONES OPINION...
